Oyster Farm Tour
During the 1 hour tour, participants wade out into the water, taste fresh Pacific and native Angasi Oysters straight out of the water, and have a hands-on shucking lesson and shuck their very own oyster. They will also learn the history of Coffin Bay, and Oyster Farming Practices.
Standard Tour – $40 per person
Riesling Tour – $50 per person
Includes a glass of Riesling per person, enjoyed out in the water whilst tasting oysters
Standard Tour + extra half dozen oysters – $55 per person
Riesling Tour + extra half dozen oysters – $65 per person
Champagne Tour – $80 per person
Includes a bottle of champagne and 1 doz oysters to share between 2 whilst in the water. A fabulous experience and very different to normal tours!
Champagne + Platter tour – $120 per person
Includes a bottle of champagne and 1 dozen oysters to share between 2 whilst on the tour. At the conclusion of the tour, when the other tour participants depart, you get to stay on the tour deck in the water and enjoy a seafood/ mezze platter with your someone special! You can graze at your leisure in the water enjoying the view and this very unique dining experience.
Seafood Tasting Tour
This tour is usually around dusk (4.00pm) and offers the opportunity to wade out into the water, sit on the floating ‘Salt Water Pavilion’, enjoy our beautiful sunset and order fabulously fresh seafood tasting plates from the menu. Try our famous Coffin Bay Oysters with a range of dressings, sashimi, mussels, prawns and abalone. You’re also able to enjoy this with a cold drink with Beer, Riesling, Bubbles, Sav Blanc & Rose options available on the drinks menu.
This tour is $20 to join + whatever you order from the menu. This tour is a more informal tour, where you can ask questions about the oyster farming practices or simply just enjoy the beautiful surroundings whilst grazing on our world famous oysters and Eyre Peninsula seafood at its best! The only tour of this type in the world!
Please note: The tours are subject to tide conditions. If the weather is too rough, we will advise within 24 hours. We suggest you wear comfortable clothing and the waders provided, will protect you from getting wet. Tours book out quickly during peak season, so we recommend you book at least 24 – 48 hours in advance to avoid missing out.
